About Peel & Stick Wallpaper
FAQ
Peel & stick wallpaper is a self-adhesive wall covering that you apply directly to a smooth, clean surface. It requires no paste or glue, and can be removed cleanly without damaging the wall. It’s an awesome option for renters!
Yes — our peel & stick wallpaper is designed to be removable. Simply peel it off gently at a 180° angle. For best results, remove it slowly and steadily.
With proper installation and care, our wallpaper can last for years. Avoid exposure to intense direct sunlight or heat sources, as they may degrade the adhesive over time.
Yes! Our wallpaper can make a beautiful statement in kitchens, bathrooms, and even on lightly textured walls. On textured surfaces, it will adhere, though the texture may show through. In kitchens, it makes a great backsplash and is easy to clean with a damp cloth — just avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the ink.
In bathrooms and other humid areas, it works best in well-ventilated spaces and where moisture is occasional rather than constant.
Yes! Our peel-and-stick wallpaper works beautifully on a variety of surfaces — including furniture, glass, and cabinets — as long as they are non-porous, clean, and relatively smooth.
Please keep in mind:
* Our wallpaper is sturdier and thicker than regular contact paper.
* Make sure the surface is fully dry and free of dust, oils, or residue.
* Freshly painted surfaces should cure for at least 2 weeks before installation.
This makes it a great choice for creative DIY projects like accent cabinets, stair risers, or even tabletops. In bathrooms and other humid areas, it works best in well-ventilated spaces and where moisture is occasional rather than constant.
Yes — we use high-quality, eco-friendly inks and materials. Our products meet safety standards and are suitable for homes, nurseries, and interiors.
Yes — Peel & Stick wallpaper can be removed and reapplied within the first 12 hours after installation. To rehang, gently peel from the top at a 180° angle, taking care not to touch the adhesive too much.
Note: Traditional non-woven wallpapers cannot be reused once removed.
Don’t worry — peel the panel gently and reposition it. Our material is forgiving during installation, as long as you work carefully and support the edges.
Begin at a top corner, peel down slowly at 180°, and keep pressure consistent. If adhesion is strong, you can use a hairdryer on low heat to slightly loosen the adhesive.
Successful installation starts with preparation. If your wallpaper isn’t sticking, check for:
- Dusty or dirty walls
- Recently painted walls (wait at least 2 weeks before installing)
- Walls that are too glossy or too matte (light sanding may help)
- Excessive humidity or extremely dry environments
Correcting these issues usually solves adhesion problems.
About Traditional Wallpaper
Traditional wallpaper is applied with wallpaper paste and is designed for permanent installation. Unlike peel & stick, it uses no self-adhesive — instead, you apply paste directly to the wall (paste-the-wall method), then hang the panel. The result is a flawless, long-lasting finish that looks and feels like classic wallpaper.
Our non-woven wallpaper uses the “paste the wall” method — no need to paste the paper itself. Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the wall, then hang the panel and smooth out any air bubbles with a wallpaper brush or squeegee. Non-woven paper is forgiving and easy to reposition while the paste is wet. Allow 24–48 hours to dry fully.
You’ll need standard wallpaper paste (available at any hardware store), a paint roller or brush to apply it, a smoothing brush or plastic squeegee, a sharp craft knife, and a level. No special tools required.
Non-woven wallpaper is much easier to remove than old-school paper wallpaper. When you’re ready to remove it, simply score the surface lightly and apply warm water or a wallpaper remover solution. The non-woven material tends to peel off in full strips. However, once removed it cannot be reused — unlike peel & stick.
Yes, with good ventilation. Our non-woven material is breathable and handles occasional humidity well. We recommend ensuring the room is well-ventilated and that the surface is properly primed before installation. It is not recommended for areas with constant direct moisture (e.g., inside showers).
Traditional wallpaper works best on smooth, dry, primed walls. Surfaces should be free of dust, grease, and loose paint. We do not recommend installing over heavily textured walls, as the texture will show through.
Very. Traditional wallpaper is designed to last for years — often 10+ years with proper installation and care. It’s a great option for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and feature walls where you want a permanent, high-quality result.
Yes. We use Epson UltraChrome eco-solvent inks with ISO certification for safe indoor use. Our non-woven material is PVC-free and B1 fire-resistant — meeting strict safety standards for residential interiors.
Most DIYers can install non-woven wallpaper successfully — it’s actually more beginner-friendly than traditional paper wallpaper because you paste the wall, not the paper. That said, for large rooms or complex layouts (many windows, corners, pattern repeats), a professional installer can make the job easier and faster.
